Gorden Web Design is a one-person web design and computer repair operation in Moses Lake, WA. We build fixed-price websites for small businesses across Central Washington, with a focus on local SEO, AI-augmented design workflows, and WordPress engineering. We also provide local computer repair services for clients who need both — the same operator runs both sides of the studio so there’s no handoff to a different team.

What we do

Three practices, run end-to-end by one operator.

  1. AI Sites — Full websites designed and built with AI tooling. From copy to layout to deploy. Finished in days, not months. AI replaces the production time, not the editorial judgment — every line is reviewed and rewritten where it needs to be.
  2. Affiliate Systems — Content and site structures built to run affiliate programs properly: disclosed, tracked, maintained. Compliance first, conversion second. Operates Amazon, ClickBank, and direct programs.
  3. WordPress Engineering — Custom themes, performance tuning, hands-on WordPress builds for clients who need it done right. Theme-level work, not page-builder soup. We work at the code level when we need to.

Outside web work, we also do computer repair for local clients in the Moses Lake area — hardware diagnostics, software troubleshooting, and upgrades. This isn’t a separate business; it’s the same studio, with the same operator, taking care of small business technology end-to-end.

Who we are

Gorden Web Design is owned and operated by Douglas Gorden Jr., a web developer and small business technology generalist who has been running this studio since 2003. We are a solo operation — no agency, no subcontractors, no offshore handoff. When you email the studio, you’re emailing Douglas directly. When you call, Douglas answers.

That structure has trade-offs. We can’t take on enterprise work or scale to a 20-project backlog. What we can do is ship clean work fast, maintain long-running relationships with the small business owners we already serve, and stay accountable for every piece of work that leaves the studio.

How we work

  1. Discovery. One call or email to scope what you need. You tell us what the site should accomplish; we tell you what’s realistic and what’s a stretch.
  2. Quote. Fixed-price quote, itemized by deliverable. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices. We send a contract listing everything we’ll ship.
  3. Design and content. Wireframes, copy, image direction. We draft, you review, we revise. Two rounds of revisions included in scope.
  4. Build. WordPress install on managed hosting, custom theme work where needed, schema markup, llms.txt, sitemap, analytics. Code-level work, not page-builder soup.
  5. Launch. DNS cutover, SSL, final QA, post-launch monitoring. 30 days of post-launch support included.
  6. Maintain. Optional monthly maintenance ($50 to $200/mo): hosting, security, updates, content edits. Cancel anytime.
